Labor Card Yojana: Labor Card Yojana is an important scheme run by the Government of India for the welfare of laborers working in the unorganized sector. In some states, the benefit of housing scheme is also available.
Required Documents
Some important documents are required while applying for a labor card. Aadhar card is the most important document which is required for identification. A copy of the bank account passbook is required. Passport size photo is required. A copy of the ration card has to be attached. Work related certificate or 90 days work proof has to be given. BOCW certificate is also valid for people already involved in construction work. All documents should be clear and correct.

The process of applying online for a labor card is very simple. First of all, you have to go to the official website of the labor department of your state. There you will find the option of ‘New Labor Card Registration’. All the required information has to be filled in the application form like name, address, mobile number, Aadhaar number etc. All the required documents have to be uploaded. Mobile number and email have to be verified. After submitting the form, you will get the application number.
