Free Laptop Yojana : In today’s time, the field of education is changing rapidly. The old-fashioned classrooms have now been replaced by the era of computers and internet. Students now have to study at home and for this they need a laptop or tablet. This need had become a big problem especially for the children of poor families. But now different state governments are running many good schemes to solve this problem.

Brilliant students are getting support in Rajasthan

The Rajasthan government has started a great scheme to help talented children. Under this scheme, children who score 75% or more marks in 10th and 12th are given free laptops. They also get free internet for three years. The best thing about this scheme is that children do not have to apply separately. Children who are eligible are automatically selected. But this scheme is only for those children whose family’s annual income is less than two lakh rupees and no one in the family holds a government job.

Uttar Pradesh’s comprehensive digital initiative

The Uttar Pradesh government is also not behind. There is a great scheme running in the name of Swami Vivekanand Yojana. In this, laptops, tablets or smartphones are given to the youth of 18 to 25 years who score 65 percent marks in 10th or 12th. This scheme is for those boys and girls who are doing ITI, diploma or graduation. For this, children have to apply online by visiting the website upcmo.up.nic.in. The whole process is very easy and clean.

Unique way of Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh government has adopted a different method. Instead of giving laptops directly to the children, financial assistance of Rs 25,000 is given. This money is given to those children who have scored at least 85 percent marks in 12th and whose family income is less than six lakh rupees. This amount is sent directly to the bank account of the children so that they can buy a laptop or tablet of their choice. For this, one has to apply on shikshaportal.mp.gov.in.

All these schemes are not limited to just providing equipment to children. Their real purpose is to prepare children from poor and rural areas for today’s digital era. Earlier, children who were left behind due to lack of money, can now also get good education and prepare for big competitive exams. These schemes are bringing a new revolution in the field of education and making the future of the country bright.
