UP Government Schemes: Students of Uttar Pradesh will get benefits.
If you are from Uttar Pradesh and are a student of Bundelkhand and Sonbhadra, then a big facility has been given by the government to the students from class 9th to 12th. Now students coming 5 km away will be given an allowance of ₹ 6000.
With this scheme of the government, going to school will no longer be a hassle for students. In these eight districts, students of class 9th and 12th who travel more than 5 km to go to school will be given ₹6000 transport allowance. Both boys and girls will get this benefit in secondary schools. Whereas in PM Shri Vidyalaya, only girls will be given this benefit.
Travel allowance will be given in the district along with Bundelkhand
Let us tell you that in seven districts of Bundelkhand namely Jalaun, Hamirpur, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Banda, Chitrakoot and Sonbhadra, the secondary schools are located far away as compared to the rest of the state. According to this plan of the Ministry of Education, there should be a government secondary school at every 5 km distance. In such a situation, the Ministry has given approval in the budget to give ₹ 6000 transport allowance to the students who travel more than 5 km to go to school.
Let us tell you that after the approval of the budget under Samagra Shiksha, the Secondary Education Department has also started the process for this. Let us tell you that this amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the students or their parents through DT. In the first phase, preparations are being made to send this amount in two parts. Because through this, the target has been set to increase the attendance of the concerned students by 10 percent.
Students will have to fill the proforma to avail the benefits of the scheme
Let us tell you that a proforma has been prepared by the Secondary Education Department. Any student who wants to take advantage of this scheme can fill the proforma and submit it. In this, they will state that there is no government secondary school within 5 kilometers from their house. It will be mandatory to get this proforma and declaration verified by the village head and the school principal. In urban areas, it will be verified by the councilors.
More than 24000 students will get benefit
Let us tell you that Additional State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha Vishnukant Pandey Ji told that the objective of this scheme is not only to help the students financially but also to motivate them to come to school regularly.
