Ladli Behna Yojana 26th Installment: Madhya Pradesh government’s ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ is an impressive initiative to make women self-reliant and empowered. This scheme was started by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, in which earlier women were given ₹ 1000 every month but now it has been increased to ₹ 1250. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial help to poor, widowed, divorced or destitute women of the state so that they can bear the small expenses of their house themselves. To join the scheme, the age of women should be between 21 to 60 years and she should be a resident of Madhya Pradesh. Till now lakhs of women have benefited from this scheme and this number is increasing continuously.
date of receipt of money
Under the Ladli Behna Yojana, an amount of ₹1250 is sent directly to the bank accounts of women on a fixed date every month. In the month of July, this amount will be deposited in the accounts of the beneficiaries on 10th July. For this, full preparations have been made by the government and processing has also been started in the banking system. Beneficiary women are informed about the arrival of money through SMS so that they can know whether the amount has reached their account or not. Women whose accounts do not receive money due to technical reasons are given a second chance so that they can receive the amount.
Eligibility Conditions
Only those women who fulfill the prescribed conditions get the benefit of Ladli Behna Yojana. The age of the woman should be between 21 to 60 years and she should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh. Her name must be in the voter list and the bank account must be linked to the Aadhar card. Also, it is also an important condition that the woman should not already be benefiting from any other pension scheme or government financial assistance scheme. Women who have a Samagra ID can easily apply in this scheme. All documents should be correct and updated so that there is no interruption in payment.
Account link required
The most important condition for receiving the amount of Ladli Behna Yojana is that the bank account of the beneficiary woman should be linked to Aadhaar and Samagra ID. If the account is not linked or there is any mistake in it, then the amount of ₹ 1250 will not be transferred. Many women were not able to get payment in the past months only due to this reason. Therefore, all women are advised to go to the bank and get their account information updated as soon as possible. For this, help can be taken from the nearest bank branch, CSC center or Panchayat office so that there is no problem in payment next time.
How to check the name
If you want to know whether your name is in the list of Ladli Behna Yojana or not, then you can get this information by visiting the official portal of the government. For this, you only have to enter your Samagra ID or Aadhaar number, after which your complete information appears on the screen. It also shows whether the amount of the previous month was sent to your account or not. If the payment is stuck, then the reason for it is also shown so that you can get it corrected. This entire process has been made simple and transparent so that everyone is facilitated.
Big benefits of the plan
Through the Ladli Behna Yojana, the government is not only providing financial assistance to women but is also motivating them to become self-reliant. Through this scheme, women are able to meet their small expenses like children’s fees, ration or household essentials. Apart from this, the scheme has given women a new identity in the society, which has increased their self-esteem. The government is also increasing the amount of the scheme from time to time so that its impact can be more widespread. This initiative is proving to be a strong step towards women empowerment.
The next plan of the government
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has recently indicated that the government is considering bringing more new schemes for women. Apart from the Ladli Behna Yojana, many schemes like Sewing Machine Scheme, Ujjwala Scheme, Kanya Vivah Scheme are already running in the state, which are being benefited by a large number of women. The objective of the government is that no woman should be left behind financially and she can take her own decisions in her life. In this direction, the Ladli Behna Yojana will be expanded further in the coming time.
