Rajasthan VDO Syllabus: Syllabus and exam pattern has been released for recruitment to Rajasthan Gram Vikas Adhikari posts, in which complete information has been made available through PDF file. This recruitment is being organized by Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, for which the syllabus has been released through the official website. In the released syllabus, how many marks questions will be asked from which subject and other topic wise information has also been made available.
At present the application forms for this recruitment are being filled online, for which the notification has been issued through the official website under the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, according to which 850 vacant posts will be filled, eligible candidates can fill the online application form till 18 July 2025 through Raj SSO portal.

The syllabus and exam pattern of Rajasthan Gram Vikas Adhikari has been released.
Exam Pattern
In this exam, all the questions will be of objective type for which equal marks have been fixed for all the questions and on filling wrong answer to any question, one-third of the total marks of the question will be deducted from the marks obtained by the candidate and a total of 160 questions will be asked in this exam for which total marks have been fixed as 200 and the time to solve this paper has been kept as 3 hours.
In this all the questions will be objective type and if the candidate does not want to answer any question then he will have to fill the fifth option in the OMR sheet. This time five options will be made available for each question in which A, B, C, D and E options will be given, from those the candidate will have to fill a dark circle in any one option and only one option has to be filled for each question. If any question is not solved by the student then he will have to fill the fifth option E and if none of the five options is filled then one-third marks will be deducted for each question up to 10% questions.
After solving the question paper, the candidate must ensure that he/she has filled one round for each question and for this, apart from the stipulated time, an additional time of 10 minutes will also be given. If a student does not select any option in more than 10% of the questions, he/she will be disqualified.
Rajasthan VDO Syllabus (Syllabus)
The syllabus for recruitment to the posts of Gram Vikas Adhikari has been released, according to which 1. 50 marks have been fixed for questions related to language knowledge, in which 30 marks have been kept for General Hindi and 20 marks for English. In General Hindi, Sandhi, Sandhi Vichchhed, Samas, prefix, suffix, synonyms and antonyms, word era, one meaningful word for a phrase, correct word, correct sentence, idioms, proverbs and technical terminology have been kept, whereas in English, questions based on grammar and questions based on paragraph will be asked.
2. 30 marks have been kept for Mathematics subject. It includes decimals and fractions, percentage, ratio and proportion, average interest, profit loss, discount rate, time and distance, ratio and time, compound interest, growth and decline rate, factors of polynomials, greatest factor of polynomial, common factor and least common multiple, linear equations in two variables, measures of central tendency, mean deviation, quadrilaterals, circle, arc and angle subtended by it, geometric constructions.
3. 20 marks have been kept for general knowledge in which 10 marks have been fixed for current affairs and 10 marks for general science. 4. 30 marks have been kept for geography and natural resources . 5. 30 marks for agriculture and economic development in the context of Rajasthan .
6. 30 marks of Rajasthan culture and Rajasthan history, it includes medieval background, organization in socio-economic life, freedom movement and political awakening, political unity, dialects and literature, music, dance and drama, religious beliefs, folk traditions, saints, poets, brave men, folk gods and folk goddesses, handicrafts, festivals in fairs, customs, costumes and jewellery, speciality of tribals in tribal context. 7. 10 marks have been fixed for basic computer .
