RRC Eastern Railway: Currently, a notice has been issued through the official website to fill the vacant posts of Group C and Group D under Scouts and Guides Quote in Eastern Railway. According to the notice issued, 10th 12th pass candidates can fill the application form for this, if you are also dreaming of getting a government job by joining Indian Railways, then this recruitment is going to be important for you, a total of 13 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment process, for this the notification was issued on 2 July 2025 through the official website.
This is a great opportunity for 10th 12th pass candidates who are looking for a government job. The Railway Recruitment Board of Eastern Railway has opened an online portal to fill the vacant posts of Group C and Group D under Sports Quota. Through this, eligible candidates can apply from 9th July while the online portal will remain open till 8th August 2025. For this, candidates fulfilling the prescribed qualifications and criteria can fill the application form.
Age Limit & Educational Qualification
According to the notice issued by the Railways, to apply for Group C Level 2 posts, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 30 years, while for Group D posts the age limit has been fixed between 18 to 33 years. The educational qualification to apply is 12th pass with 50% marks for Group C and 10th with ITI or NCC certificate for Group D Level A. Apart from this, there is a provision of relaxation in the upper age limit of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC-ST.
Application Fees
While filling the application form for this recruitment, the applicants of General OBC EWS category will have to pay ₹ 500 fee, after which ₹ 400 will be refunded to the candidates on appearing in the written examination and for SC ST PWD Women Ex-Servicemen Minority Economically Weaker Sections a fee of ₹ 250 has been kept, the candidates who will appear in the examination will be refunded the entire fee, it will have to be paid online at the time of application.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates for these posts will be done in four stages in which first a written exam will be conducted, after passing this exam there will be a physical exam in which the successful candidates will be finally selected through document verification and medical examination, the candidates passing in all these stages will be appointed.
